Kate & Leopold

Kate and Leopold (2001) is a romantic comedy directed by James Mangold and starring Meg Ryan and Hugh Jackman. Leopold, the Third Duke of Albany, has to marry a rich heiress because that's his uncle Millard's will. But Leo wants to marry for love. One day, having noticed a stranger in his study room, Leopold chases him and falls into a temporary portal. Having been dragged to 2001, Leo meets a charming advertising executive, and as they tour New York, a mutual attraction develops into something deeper.
